The shoes

Hey guys!
I haven’t updated my diary in so long! I really miss updating it, exams killed me >.< speaking of exams. I didn't do well in chemistry, I was repeating it but I guess I wont be seeing a higher mark… Its just so sad how I wasted my whole summer for nothing.

I learned how to do paper stars! Did you know my favourite shape is stars?

I plan to get a jar and fill it with paper stars. I was thinking of putting in a star every time I’m sad and then when its full or I’m ready to get over them and let go, I burn or throw them away then i realised how much of a waste that would be. I should forget the sad times of life so maybe I should do a star every time I’m happy, and since its pretty, it would be used as decor, however I’d have to use coloured paper of paint the stars.

I bought this tree for Alice – the money went to charity so I thought it would be special. Also it looked like a sakura tree so I knew she would love it. First picture is how it looked to start with but I really disliked how the pot looked like. I removed the glitter glue stripes with a pair of tweezers and removed the residue with a cotton soaked in nail polish remover. I then sponged on a thin layer of icy blue nail polish to represent the cold weather in Japan and added glitter polish to represent the snow and ta daa~ a super pretty sakura tree.

I bought new pencil colours to try out, pastel pitt. I love how easily they blend in each other and easily give a 3D look like in the first picture.

The girl is obviously edited, I had too! Just to distract from how uneven her face looks. Dad asked if her husband physically abused her, wtf. In my defence I was drawing with my eyes closed, super sleepy but super excited to try them out. However, I really like how her hair looks. I usually hate colouring or drawing hair, but these colours makes it easy.

The shoes!!! Long story.
My friends and I saw these shoes on their site since 2 weeks I think, but not available in the stores so we asked about it and it was suppose to be out on sunday night and it wasn’t. Came out Thursday. We went straight after school, I went earlier than her and she kept calling me to hold on to one for her, I couldn’t find her size so I sent her pictures of 2 other shoes that are alike.

She ended up buying the red ones as we both agreed they look better. While walking out of the store, I found the beige shoes almost hidden beside a mannequin and they were my size, FRICKIN LAST PAIR! *teary eyes* how pretty are they? She keeps asking me about how the shoes feel wahahahaha.

I think that’s enough for today, time to sleep. Too many pictures, eh?

I’ll blog soon on tips on studying Japanese and leather pants soon so make sure you come backk!

Nail Stickers Guide

Hello guys!

It has been so long since our last post! I have an excuse though, EXAMS. Yea and guess what? I’m still not done, last exam is on the 18th which will land on monday. Not too worried about it since its an MCQ, however I did really screw up in paper 3 fml TTT_TTT

I think I talked about blogging about nail stickers in my which was a long time ago. Anyway here it is~

Nail stickers are so pretty, its like nail art but looks “cleaner”. Also if you’re like me, you probably find it super hard to draw on your right hand (dominant hand). This just helps make both hand’s nail art look pretty. Nail stickers put your nails through less damage compared to using nail polish because the only thing that could damage your nails in the process is using nail polish remover/acetone but you can opt for a less damaging remover by just using gel hand sanitiser. Its also less time consuming as you already have the designs and everything is put to place for you, you just need to stick it on your nails.

Depending on the brand you bought not all stickers will have strong glues. I bought two different brands, both were cheep Chinese brands as nail stickers aren’t very popular in Egypt, both didn’t last for 7 days as claimed. There are a lot of designs for you to choose from, but its still not as versatile as drawing with nail polish. Stickers chooses for you which design goes on which finger. You don’t have to be super careful for your nail stickers to rip off as you would with fake nails, but you will still have a part in your brain thinking if it might rip or not while doing certain things.

You’ll need a…

pair of scissors

nail file

and of course the stickers.

1. have a look at the nail sticker sizes and determine which sticker will go on which nail.

+If you want, buff your nails first to make the stickers last longer, I chose not to so I don’t damage my nails.

2. remove sticker from transparent plastic sheet using tweezers.

3. stick the sticker starting from the base of the nail then press it on to stick and push out air bubbles.

4. you should end up with a lot of excess like in picture 1, cut it only leaving around 0.5-1cm.

5. bend it down like in picture 2 then file it off.

+file downwards.

Just an extra tip: I tried to use a base/top coat with nail stickers to make them last longer but it doesn’t work, HUGE FAIL guise, don’t try. Not under, not on top. Nuffin’.

That’s it! I hope you enjoyed and found this post helpful, It was fun trying it out since I really dislike having just a plain nail polish on my nails and I don’t really have the time to draw during exams. Its a step down from the fun of nail art, but its something.

My best friend Ahmad, the one I’m planning to zombiefy the world with ( has started a blog, please check it out!

Well heres some exiciting news ~ One of many many goals is coming true ! Dew and I are now in  Japanese classes.

Im was very excited but very nervous. I couldnt believe it was really true. I wore my shirt with the japanese flag and a woman in a kimono~  Everyone there seems to like anime and Japanese culture. So i think i might make friends there as we progress.

We started learning Hiragana , the first alphabet in Japanese. Its easy so far ! It all builds on the vowels  A I U E O.  And then a letter is added to the start and it forms a sound like Ka or So.

The teacher asked us if we knew any words and why we are here. My goal is to watch anime with no subs ! She looked like a friendly person , i didnt catch her name though. So ill be calling her Sensei. She understands a bit or Arabic and English.  Shes also quite funny.

I really hope i do well because its my dream to travel to Japan with Panda. So im doing my best studying because we already have a test next time :s !

{My study notes!}

{My Notebook!}

We shall keep you updated !
